Storytelling

In the first part of his book “Stories Writing,” Reza Baraheni discusses the necessity of critiquing stories and compares the characteristics of a professional storyteller with a non-professional storyteller. He then analyzes the components of the story, referring to the historical reasons for its emergence, and then compares the storyteller and the journalist, the commissioned story, and party ethics, and explains the storyteller’s commitment and responsibilities in the evening.
In a section of the book called Story Structure, various factors such as experience, conflict, incident, narrator’s role, character, plot and plot, setting, environment or space, tone, style, and pattern are examined. In the rest of the book, we are faced with the phenomenon of the psychological story, and the differences between the classical, romantic, and modern perspectives.
It is obvious that in this book the author also discusses “short story writing” in Iran and criticizes the works of “Sadegh Chobak”, “Sadegh Hedayat”, “Jalal Ale Ahmad”, “Ebrahim Golestan”, “Ali Akbar Dehkhoda” and “Mohammad Ali Jamalzadeh” from different perspectives, and in the meantime, he has examined the works of “Sadegh Chobak” more extensively and in detail.
